LA STORIA
Garth Ennis ha avuto il non facile compito di sostituire Jamie Delano sulla serie di "Hellblazer". Se, infatti, all'inizio ha scritto degli episodi interessanti, seguendo il modo di narrare del suo predecessore, col tempo la sua vena artistica, nello scrivere storie horror intriganti e mai banali, si è esaurita, re-inventando il personaggio di John Constantine secondo il proprio stile. In sostanza, Ennis, ha reso John un ubriacone, un violento ed ha inserito nella serie il classico tema dello scontro fra angeli e demoni, che lo si può ritrovare anche nell'altra serie da lui creata e che lo ha reso famoso: "Preacher".
